Tune in Tuesday - Random Playlists Edition!

Tune in Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Ginger from GReads  that showcases music by posting a song on your blog in order to help spread the love of music! For the random playlists edition I made a genius playlist on iTunes based on a favourite - Good Life By One Republic and then chose 3 other songs from the playlist it generated. The other three songs are also favourites - Let it Be Me By Ray LaMontagne, First Train Home By Imogen Heap and Wild Horse By Natasha Bedingfield! How's that for random!?? Hope you enjoy :)

It's Monday, What are you reading?

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila @ Book Journey where you can share what you are reading each week. Be sure to visit Book Journey to link up if want to join in!
Eeeeeeek! I have been so slack with my posts - sorry about that! Work has been super busy and I have been exhausted. I am reading before bed each night, but am  am too tired to take it in and then have to re-read it the next night! lol :) Oh well....I am still enjoying All That I Am by Anna Funda and The Weed that Strings the Hangman's Bag By Alan Bradley. Flavia is such a great character - I love the Flavia de Luce mystery series so much!

Anyway I had to go to the chemist which just happens to have a bookshop attached to it and ended up coming out with another book which I have started today - The Lonely Passion of Judith Hearne, By Brian Moore. I think I am really going to enjoy this book, plus it is a short one!!

Here is the book description from Harper Collins:
Judith Hearne, a Catholic middle-aged spinster, moves into yet another bed-sit in Belfast. A socially isolated woman of modest means, she teaches piano to a handful of students to pass the day. Her only social activity is tea with the O'Neill family, who secretly dread her weekly visits.
Judith soon meets wealthy James Madden and fantasises about marrying this lively, debonair man. But Madden sees her in an entirely different light, as a potential investor in a business proposal. On realising that her feelings are not reciprocated, she turns to an old addiction - alcohol. Having confessed her problems to an indifferent priest, she soon loses her faith and binges further. She wonders what place there is for her in a world that so values family ties and faith, both of which she is without.
